The Commonwealth Catalog Reaches 150,000 Requests

Submitted by Alexandra on October 20, 2016

On October 18th, 2016 the Commonwealth Catalog reached its 150,000th request!

ComCat 150

Of those 150,000 requests, over half of them have been created in the last six and a half months alone.  At that rate, the system and staff are processing an average of 358 requests per day.

This is quite the milestone for the system that first went online with four library networks on April 1st, 2015.  Since that start date, the Commonwealth Catalog has grown to include over 44,400 active users and now supports the borrowing and lending of nine library networks and three universities.

If you are a FLO patron or staff member and haven’t yet tried placing a request in the Commonwealth Catalog, click the link to get started.
