On Thursday, January 30th, the Evergreen team met to begin working toward our first project goal, creating the criteria that the team will use to evaluate Evergreen. After some administrative chores and a brief question and answer session the team divided into subgroups, management, workflows and user-interface, to start the real work of the day. The task of each subgroup was to generate a list of key features and functionality for our ILS as seen from one of three user roles.
The next step in the process is putting these lists online for review and edits from group members. We will review the lists at our next meeting to discuss priorities of features - what has to be included, what we hope to see in the near future, and what would be nice to have eventually.
