The following resources are collaborative projects produced by FLO working groups and communities of interest.
Accessibility Toolkit (LibGuide)
The IDEA Accessibility subcommittee, part of the FLO IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) working group, created a LibGuide for the FLO community that offers key resources related to accessibilty best practices, tools for digital access and website evaluation, and requirements. The LibGuide is maintained by FLO and the IDEA Accessibility sub-group. Feedback is welcome and may be submitted through this form.
FLO Controlled Digital Lending Project (GitHub)
This Google Apps Script based CDL system was developed by FLO and Holyoke Community College. Controlled Digital Lending (CDL) is a method that allows libraries to loan print books to digital patrons in a “lend like print” fashion. This code, accessible on GitHub, models a CDL system for Google Workspace users.
DEI Hiring Toolkit
This toolkit was created by the FLO IDEA Committee is to assist academic and college libraries in their hiring. This toolkit features guidelines and best practices from the perspective of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) that libraries can use during all aspects of the hiring process.
