FLO facilitates groups centered around different topics of interest in the world of academic libraries. Library professionals from full and affiliate members of FLO are welcome to join and participate. Library staff are encouraged to take leadership roles in FLO communities of interest and suggest new groups to meet their changing needs.

Archives

This community focuses on the topic of archives, providing a space for librarians and archivists staff to connect about their work and share ideas and knowledge with each other.

Artificial Intelligence

This community focuses on the ever-changing topic of artificial intelligence and its impact on information literacy and library services, especially information literacy.

Information Literacy

This community centers around the topic of information literacy, including reference and instruction services, working with faculty, user instruction, and other topics. The community’s main activity is planning the Information Literacy Symposium each year.

Library Programming

This community focuses on library programming and provides a space where those who coordinate programming and events in their libraries can support each other, share ideas, and generate new ways to reach their college communities.
