On November 7, FLO hosted the Annual Meeting at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
The day started with a warm welcome and year-in-review by Hee Jung Lee (MFA Library Director) and Joe Sikowitz (FLO Executive Director). Kristi Mukk, User Support Coordinator at the Harvard Library Innovation Lab gave the keynote presentation on “Librarianship of AI: Building and Evaluating Custom AI Chatbots.” After lunch, members of the FLO community gave lightning talks on ways that they are using AI in their libraries. Vivienne Piroli (Simmons Library Directory) gave an update on the FLO strategic plan, and the day concluded with a panel on “Strategies for Succeeding with Student Workers.”
